I like to describe myself as an artist with storytelling, humility, strategy, and type-A detail all rolled into one. Making clients happy and watching businesses succeed is the ultimate goal. I take a healthy pride in creating quality brand work that makes strategic sense, is beautiful to the beholder, and “has legs”. I have experience. I have patience. I have passion. Want to know more? Pre-K 4 SA
Pre-K 4 SA is a city-funded education initiative in San Antonio, TX. My work started with them just after their launch and began with a major course correction on their brand. While I was the lead designer from logo, to video work, my entire team found it to be one of the most rewarding – and educational – accounts to be a part of. Check it out!
Fredericksburg, Texas
The Fredericksburg Convention and Visitor Bureau represents “all things tourism” in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. With over 50 wineries in the area, a historic downtown, a bustling foodie scene, and beautiful scenery, it was a pleasure and, dare I say “easy”, to work on for over 10 years. This branding and marketing work helped catapult the destination from a quiet mom-and-pop antique town to a sophisticated regional visitor hub attracting millions annually. Check it out!
Cameron-Brooks
Cameron-Brooks is a niche company that has over 50 years of experience helping Junior Military Officers (JMO) launch leadership careers in business. It’s half B2B and half B2C given the two audiences: JMO candidates and hiring companies. While their target audiences are relatively small, the coaching, preparation, and opportunities they provide are massive. Check it out!
Guadalupe Regional Medical Center
While many smaller hospitals throughout the country are getting acquired by larger corporate giants, Guadalupe Regional Medical Center (GRMC) remains the only city-county hospital in Texas. When first engaging with them, we did a “brank-tweak” to help the outward-facing brand match its internal persona and capabilities. Today, their brand is much healthier. So is their community loyalty. Check it out!
The Nursing Team
The owner of this small start-up business was inspired after caring for his mother with Alzheimer’s. After a career in technology, he wanted to try something more rewarding—a service-oriented work that brought people JOY. I did everything from naming to videos. Ironically, this heartfelt little startup was rewarding for me, too! Check it out.
Ready to Work
Ready to Work is a city-funded program in San Antonio with a mission to help more people enter the workforce and earn higher wages in order to strengthen the city and reduce poverty. It’s San Antonio’s premier training, education, and employment program and is designed to take students to the next level by learning skills that can enable them to obtain higher-paying jobs. West End Pizza Company
This locally owned pizza parlor in Fredericksburg, Texas has great pizza — and great personality. The rebrand I managed several years ago is still standing strong today and reflects their casual and fun vibe. Check it out!
SOMOS Community Care
SOMOS, based in New York City, is a network of over 2,600 culturally competent healthcare providers. This initiative was designed to provide convenient care to more than 1 million patients in New York’s underserved communities. As a cultural melting pot, many of these people need health care providers that share their culture and speak their language. Our brand was executed in English, Spanish and Chinese. Check it out!
Design Portfolio
Of course, I love, love, love branding, but the artist in me just digs a good design project. Here are a few of my favs that highlight my design abilities. Check them out!
