Branding Portfolio: The Nursing Team

My Primary Roles: Creative Director, Lead Designer, Videographer, Writer

Brand Assets Created: Logo, tagline, paper system, brochures, website, blogs, social media, videos, photography, t-shirts, iconography, car wrap

Logo & Tagline

Finding a name that was not already taken in the home healthcare industry was challenging. The client wanted a strategic mix of nursing professionalism and fun, compassionate care and wanted it to immediately convey what the business provides. He truly believes and operates as if every client represents an opportunity to bring joy into a home — and heart.

Paper System

After the name was selected and registered, URLs and emails acquired, we began creating the visual identity. A soft, happy, and joyful palette married with the friendly and whimsical logo was well-received by potential clients.

Official Website

A large component of The Nursing Team marketing is its website and online presence. While I served as the Creative Director and lead designer, I did not design or program the website. This function was performed by other team members based on my brand guidelines.

Brrochures

Having a beautiful, friendly and clearly written brochure to leave behind when visiting with a family is an important marketing tool. We created a few different pieces for various types of visits.

Car Wrap

Driving from appointment to appointment is a great opportunity to spread the brand. I created this fun car wrap (really half-wrap to be more economical). It’s not only eye-catching but when Tom sits in the front seat, he becomes the butterfly!

Social Media

For the first few months, I also handled content creation for their social media. Using a strategic outline on messaging, relevant hashtag s and clear CTAs, we started building a loyal audience.

Video Production

I filmed, edited, and published several videos for The Nursing Team. Caregiver Testimonials, recruitment videos, and Tom’s story were all captured.

Various Iconography

The word “Joy” was a running theme throughout their brand and was incorporated as iconography into various marketing pieces.

T-Shirts

Caregivers were given The Nursing Team shirts to wear while at clients’ homes to further promote the brand.

Blog Writing

While long copywriting is not something I promote for myself, I did write blogs for this client.
